Day 1: Arrival in Cochin

On your arrival at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, our tour representative will greet you and assist you to reach your hotel. Once you complete the check-in formalities, freshen-up and energize yourself to enjoy the upcoming excitement. Thereafter, embark on a sightseeing tour.

Hailed as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea', Cochin is a mix of old-world and new-age charm. We will start our day tour by visiting Paradesi Synagogue, one of the oldest Synagogue where Jews are meeting since 1568. the year it was constructed. From here you will head to Mattancherry Palace. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed palace is famous for Kerala Murals, a kind of wall painting that depicts Hindu mythology and Rajas of Kochi. Our next destination is Santa Cruz Basilica. This church is one of the most elegant and remarkable churches in India and is reckoned as one of the heritage edifices of Kerala.

Next, you will visit Ernakulam Shiva Temple and St. Francis Church. Ernakulam Shiva Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is believed to be the protector of the city. From here, we will head to the St. Francis Church. Built-in 1503, St. Francis Church possesses great historical significance and is a silent witness of the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. The last attraction of the day is the Chinese Fishing Nets. While in Kerala, Chinese Fishing Nets are a must-visit which is a permanent installation of fishing nets providing a unique method of fishing in the sea.

Day 2: Cochin – Alleppey (Alappuzha)

Today morning, after a hearty breakfast you will begin driving to one of the most popular backwater destinations of Kerala, Alleppey which was previously known as Alappuzha. You will arrive at Pallathuruthy Jetty by 12:00 PM and after completing the check-in formalities your Kerala Backwaters Houseboat tour will begin in the real sense. From here, you will sail across the stunning attractions of Vilakumaram Thodu and Kalitta in the best Houseboat in Alleppey. Soak-in the serenity spread all around and savor the delightful views. Your houseboat also includes a trained chef who will delight you with special lunch on-board.

Day 3: Alleppey - Kumarakom (By road)

After the farewell breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and de-board the houseboat. Thereafter, start your road journey to Kumarakom. As you reach, check- in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. So you can explore Kumarakom at your own pace.

Kumarakom is a lush pristine town nestled on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Some of the attractions of this place are its backwater cruises and exotic species of avifauna. Day 4: Kumarakom – Cochin for departure (2 hours)
